Creative Feature - S&T Creations

It's time once again to feature another artist.

This week's designer are Saundra and Terri with S&T Creations, who have incredibly bold and vividly colored jewelry designs.

Together, this team creates one of a kind pieces using semi precious gemstones.

Check out more of these lady's bodacious creations in their Etsy shop and visit their blog.

Creative Features - The Yellow Flower

Holy Cow!

If you've never seen or worn intricately woven seed beads you are truly missing out. It's almost like wearing a smooth fabric with an exotic and incredible texture.

I think that too many seed bead artisans undervalue their work so it's great too see an artist like Amber Leilani price her designs according to all the hard work that I know goes into each piece.

Each one of those little tiny beads is hand woven using the thinnest and tiniest of needles. I know because I have dabbled in Peyote stitch...it is not my forte.

I love Amber's use of color and design in her woven work.

People who can create such lovely pieces always intrigue me. Amber is definitely one of those artisans.

Check out all her incredible work in her Etsy shop and be sure to say hi on her very interesting blog.

Creative Features - The Blue Cat

I love cats. And dogs. I'm sure that's no surprise.

So any artwork that revolves around animals captures my attention right away.

Carol, of The Blue Cat, has beautiful and whimsical work that is bright and bold - definitely eye catching. And her subjects are of course near and dear to my heart.

I've got my eye on a couple of her prints for the baby's room.

How cute would this be in a baby boy's room?!?

You can learn more about Carol by visiting her Blog and also check out her Etsy shop or her shop on 1000 Markets.

Creative Features - Chainmaille by MBOI

I know I've said it before and I'll say it again...people who do chainmaille amaze me! It's one of those processes that I know I could do if I tried but it is something that overwhelms me and sometimes confuses me.

So I'll just leave it to the experts like Andrew of Chainmaille by MBOI.

By far my favorite piece is this incredible Sterling Silver Byzantine chain cubed necklace. My fingers hurt just looking at those cubes!

Visit Andrew's site to see more of his stunning jewelry and check out his blog too!

Creative Features - Liv'n Good Jewelry

Jill of Liv'n Good Jewelry has the same problem that I do...making jewelry is a heck of a lot more fun than trying to sell it. She makes chain maille style jewelry, something that I have no patience for but a lot of appreciation for.

I like her Monday Motivation on her blog today too.

Creative Features - Annette Piper

I know I mentioned my competitive streak in my last Creative feature post ... one facet of that is jealousy. When I see talented jewelers designing such stunning pieces my little green jealous friend rears his ugly head. I try to tamp it down by appreciating the beauty that others create.

Annette Piper is one of those jewelers who has an eye for color and combines her stones in a stunning array of jewelry...and who makes my little green monster jump up and down. *grin*

One of the pieces I found on her site that I just fell in love with is this stunning Spring bracelet. I love the combination of springtime charms and bright spring colors.

Annette is definitely not afraid of color and uses it liberally throughout her work. I love her combination of dark red coral with white freshwater pearls.

It takes skill to put together stunning color combinations without looking messy or random and Annette pulls it off spectacularly.

Visit her blog and check out more of her work on her website.

Creative Feature - Always Wired Woman

Can I admit something? It's hard for me to feature other jewelry artists on my blog. *grin* Let's just say that I have an incredibly competative nature. But I do my best to put it aside because we can all help each other. :)

So I'd like to feature Joella of Always Wired Bead Lady today. I love her chainmaille pieces!

I don't have the patience for chainmaille and always admire those who do.

Her story sounds a lot like mine ... beading since she was a young girl but really starting to focus on making jewelry later in life.

Please visit her blog and her shop.

Creative Feature - Heather of Square One Beads

I'd like to introduce you to Heather of Square One Beads.

She makes more than just beads although I love this set of tan lentil beads, but she started her career making jewelry. I fear that if I pick up a torch and glass I'll get completely addicted to making glass beads. :)

Multi-talented, Heather is also a painter.

And she's a dog lover, which of course I love. Her doggy apparently needs our sympathy. *grin*

Please visit Heather's site and her blog. She's got something for everyone.
