Paid Reviews?

* UPDATE: I think I've decided to do a couple of reviews on my own just for fun...I'm more than willing to take feedback and suggestions as well. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think. *

I have a lot of opinions on a lot of things and I think I would make a good reviewer of "stuff". Anyone have any recommendations for a site that actually pays you to write??? I used to be part of 451 Press but they went under last year. :(

I'm not looking to make a fortune...just a few extra dollars doing something I enjoy (writing...and sharing my opinion whether people want it or not Hahahah!).

I've actually already written two lengthy reviews of two different products. If I do say so myself, they aren't too shabby.

So ... anyone have any suggestions???

If not, that's okay. I may just start doing reviews on this website for the heck of it. Would anybody mind? Or, probably more accurately, would anyone care and read?

Hey Casto,
I think that people are always looking for reviews and would even be willing to pay you for it directly on this site. Obviously as a merchant, you can use your paypal account, even click bank. Just advertise under your blog name and introduction with a blurb and then a link for more information and prices which would obviously vary by product.
It's a great idea - just what some are looking for in today's competitive market.

Thanks JJ... I don't know that I really want to do fully sponsored reviews though. I hesitate to do that. I'd rather just get paid to write generally - articles or reviews or whatever.

I think I may just do some of my own reviews for fun though to start. :)

I have photos at a place called Constant Content (http://www.constant-content.com/). You can publish your own posts and they can be purchased for a fee. Or you can answer requests for articles written on all kinds of different subjects for use on blogs and websites.

Here's another one, though I don't know anything about them. http://www.articlesbase.com/blogging-articles/write-product-reviews-for-fun-and-profit-1034682.html

Hope that helps!

And I would read the reviews you do for the fun of it. I enjoy your writing. And I like reading product reviews because I might learn about something I really like, want or need. Go for it!

Thanks Rosanne! =) I might just start doing a few for fun. And if people want to start paying me someday great. ha! I have one ready to start with and think I'll post it today.

Thanks, Anna! I'll look into those.

Hi- As you have discovered, I am earning a little bit each month at Shared Reviews, and it's fun too. You earn a share of the site revenue, so as the site grows we will earn more. And the people are nice. I and others have not felt so kindly toward ePinions

Thanks, SharkBytes. I did sign up for Shared Reviews but was a little concerned by the lack of updates on the forum and it seemed like there was only one Admin person. So I'm just going to try to do some stuff on my own and see what else is out there. :)

There are a lot of places available to find reviews. I use http://www.business2blogger.com/ they are new but their products are really cool so far.

What a great review! I think you are quite good with them. I do lots of them on my own, too-- I love reading and writing reviews!

I find that the sugar-free gum DOES take on the consistency of a rubber band after 15 minutes! Good point, lol.

After reading this, I figure I probably wouldn't get this brand for me, but maybe for my kids, I am a fussy gum-chewer, but these kids will chaw on anything.

I think reviews can be helpful, especially if they are based on something you purchased yourself. I do think the gum sounds awful. I don't really chew gum but I think I will definitely give this a miss.

Thanks everyone!!! =) I bought a few more packs because people at work seem to like it (and it's cheap with a Q at $0.25...although I think it's free at Walgreens right now).

I definitely want to keep writing some reviews for fun!
