I Think I'm a Voyuer

I think I've figured out why I enjoy Facebook so much. I enjoy knowing what is going on in other people's lives. All my life I've enjoyed looking in other people's windows - and NO I don't mean like a sick peeping Tom kind of thing.

I just like seeing what is going on...how they decorate and set their house up...basic things like that. And Facebook is kind of voyueristic, although with people's permission and help in looking at their lives.

While running a bunch of errands last Wednesday I found myself updating my Facebook status with pretty mundane things while hanging out at the tire place, getting my hair cut, at the bank, etc. Who cares? I mean really who cares what I'm doing on my errands. Or when I am riding the bus home.

But...I care. I love reading about someone's new haircut or what they're having for dinner (yes, I posted about the Chicken Parm my hubby made...it was delicious!). I find it interesting. So I guess that sort of makes me a voyuer of sorts. :)

And it might explain why I love reality shows so much. heh

I hope you don't mind that Facebook is peeping in your windows, too.

I know. lol It's free so I expect some 'invasion' of "privacy" since really I'm in their house. lol
