I admit to be absolutely horrible when it comes to creating banners and avatars. I have gladly paid someone in the past to create very simple (but lovely) banners and graphics for me in the past. But since I'm in kind of a cash crunch I'll need to create my own for various projects this year.

I've made lots of avatars, but not banners. Looks like a great way to get the job done though.
