Mother's Day is all of 17 days away. Have you thought about what you're going to give your mom yet? Instead of the same old flowers or chocolate how about ordering something special just for your mom (don't forget your mother in law too!). Is she a crafty mom? Etsy is the perfect place to find unique and special items for the crafty mama.
If you don't win my April Birthday Giveaway, which includes a great crochet hook holder from Good Karma, you can buy one directly from her. Excellent service and an incredibly well made product. She has knitting needle holders too. I love the fabric she used for this one. Perfect for the knitting mama.
What goes great with knitting? YARN! That's right. And there are talented folks out there who actually take apart old sweaters and clothes to recycle the yarn. Talk about patience. I don't think I could do it. Black Coral has the patience and the results are fabulous. Win the Birthday Giveaway and you'll get a stunning Cotton Candy skein, but if not head on over to her shop and pick out your favorite!
Since I'm on a good roll with this theme, complete the knitting package with a custom pair of knitting needles! Again, if you don't win the Birthday Giveaway head on over to Chelle and pick out your favorite pair of customized knitting needles. I love the Knit Wit pair. :) But I don't knit.
Or is your mom into rubber stamping and scrapbooking? How about a really unique and custom rubber stamp? Perfect for making special cards, accenting scrapbook pages, or stamping on envelopes. It amazes me that Craft Pudding carves and creates these herself. Her kitty stamp is part of the Birthday Giveaway but I really like this Russian Doll one too.
If your mom isn't the crafty type, don't worry. I'm on the hunt for exciting and unique gifts to recommend for the anti-crafter (like my own mom). Have a great Friday!!!

I used to knit all the time as I kid. I'd love to pick it up again.
Thanks for the recommendation. I can't wait to your next post about the not so crafty mom. I will, however, click over to check out the knitting stuff :)
I love to knit! I love those "Knit Wit" needles! I am making a shawl right now (the kind you wrap around with watching tv) for a friend. I like to make baby blankets, scarves and hats too.
Blessings,
Kelly
Those knit wit needles are so cute! I love etsy. I hadn't heard of them until recently and think they have great stuff there.
Charming suggestions! :) Thanks! They're cute.
