Musings from a jewelry designer addicted to TV, politics, and the internet. A Mom. A Wife. A Daughter. A Sister. An Aflac Agent. Life is never dull.
This is a great capture. :)
Wow, craftsmanship still lives! Marvelous!
Grandfathers are awesome!
Grandpa's certainly mean a lot, don't they. :)
What a wonderful photo of your grandfather. And great to see he's still doing his craft.
I love this picture.
Ooh OOh I almost forgot to play.... What a great photo though, you have to tell me what he's doing because I can't figure it out.. To me it looks like the finger ends of workman/leather gloves were cut off.
Since you asked. :) Grandpa is grinding a stone. He's teaching me how to cut, grind, and polish stones and this is one of my first lessons. Aren't his hands awesome?!? There are so many stories in those hands.
Great picture! I love his hands - they tell a lot! :o)~Tanya
My grandmother was an artist too,and I so wish I had some pictures of her while you was working on her amazing pieces! Thanks for sharing!Artful Blessings,Kathryn
Wow! Jewelry making runs in the family eh :)
What is wordless Wednesday? I've never heard of it before.
Hey Melissa. Wordless Wednesday is something I found last week and it's SO fun! :) It's just posting a photo with no words. Just photo(s). It's hard for me to not use words. LOL
Wow. What a picture! It certainly captures a lot! You are a lucky girl who can experience such a craft first hand from an expert!
I love that image. I can imagine a poem going along with it.
