Looking Toward Tomorrow

Today was a weird day. I went to bed last night thinking that I would be a ton done today. I needed to go to the grocery store, do laundry, pay bills, and fill a couple more orders.

Instead, I got up earlier than I wanted and was tired all day and then my stomach started hurting. I even took a nap in the middle of the day and I really hate doing that the day before a work day because I never can get to sleep at the right time afterward. But I slept less than an hour. And then realized that hubby was still sleeping when he should have gotten up an hour ago. He is working nights and gets home at 3 a.m. Which of course wakes me up the first few nights of a shift change but I eventually get used to it.

I finally forced myself to start some laundry and finish my orders. Thankfully I had planned ahead last night and took a Dinners Done Right meal out to defrost and threw it in the crock pot this morning so we actually had yummy chicken soft tacos for "dinner" (at 3:30 p.m. - his schedule is all out of whack).

And now that I'm ready to sit down and get ready for bed I have stars in my eyes...almost literally. Which means that a migraine is on the horizon. Have you ever had that happen to you? I can't see out of my left eye right now (so if there are any typos I apologize) because there is this almost lightning flashing type thing going on. It's frustrating because I can't get rid of it - I have to let it go away on it's own. Thankfully it didn't hit until later in the afternoon so that I got most of my chores done. Now it's time to head to bed.

I just hope that it goes away before tomorrow - my coworkers are taking me out for my birthday lunch. =) I can't miss that!

I've never had migraines but have heard how horrible they are. I hope you wake up this morning feel great and ready for that birthday lunch!

I get floaters often :( I think it's just from being too tired and pushing myself too hard.

I have migraines, which usually result in me completely hiding out away from the world.

I haven't had a bad one in over a year (thankfully) but they used to get so bad I was not able to leave my house because of the different smells and light outside. That's something I don't ever want to deal with again.

I hope you have a wonderful birthday lunch :) (Without a migraine or a tummy ache)

I hope your migraine is gone by now. I hear that they can last a really long time. When I was teaching I had a student that missed entire weeks of school due to migraines! Ugh! How horrible!
